Plunge into the world of seen and unseen forces in The Guardian. Anna Riley has just come into possession of a two-thousand-year old scroll that God gave to John the Disciple. Her mission—to guard the scroll and unlock its secret. Jason Lang, her protector, has his work cut out for him as they begin their journey around the world, facing corruption and dodging bullets—all the while trying to keep his attraction to Anna at bay. Will he succeed in defending the woman he’s vowed to protect? Will Anna, forced to trust other people to stay alive, fulfill the challenge that she’s accepted?
The Guardian is an awesome, thrilling book that keeps you on the edge of your seat. This book was very hard to put down. I found myself taking every opportunity to read it. Anna Riley has an angel appear to her on a vacation in New Orleans telling her she needs to get to Pittsburg immediately because her Grandpa, Thomas Riley, is dying and he needs to see her. Anna was told her grandparents died years ago. Anna goes to Pittsburg to find out her life was not what it seemed. Her Grandfather and her also are direct descendants of the Apostle John and have been tasked with a scroll that came from God that needs to be figured out and find the place the scroll leads them. With a whole team of people including the Pope, Anna is sent to find the scroll and solve the riddle. With good is always evil and Lucifer is also been looking for this scroll and has infiltrated the Vatican. Anna finds her life in danger and sent on these trips to places to find out what the riddle means.
This book is AWESOME. Our authors got me hooked right from the start. The story is a wonderful, exciting, and suspenseful tale of solving a 2,000 year old riddle while many evil forces are in place to stop it from happening. The characters are very transparent and so willing to take up this cause without a second thought. We meet so many different people with different motives. Much research went into many different, foreign places that 2,000 years ago were sites in the bible. I truly enjoyed this book and found myself unable to put it down until the end. I look forward to more books by these 2 authors. I highly recommend this book for people who enjoy suspense and thriller stories that are part of Christian fiction. 5 Stars!!!
